Sorry for the lack of updates, we’ve been coolin’ in Miami and Islamorada for a few and we’re just back. We threw a few shots up on the Instagram feed, but here’s one for the site as well … front porch of the Treehouse at The Moorings, Islamorada.

Rosemary & Garlic Loaf

As of late, this blog has been an ode to domesticity and I that’s the way I like it.  Truth be told, the one thing that never ceases to make me happy is a day in the kitchen, covered in flour and a belly full of “taste testing”.

Read on for the Recipe:

  • 3c Bob’s Red Mill Gluten Free All Purpose Flour
  • 1 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 1 Packet of Active Dry Yeast
  • 2 Eggs, Beaten
  • 1 tbsp Honey
  • 3 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 1/2 tsp Lemon Juice
  • 1 1/4c Warm Water
  • 3 tsp Fresh or Dried Rosemary
  • 4 Cloves of Garlic, Minced

Separate wet & dry ingredients at first, and then add dry ingredients to wet ingredients, kneading thoroughly.  Allow the dough to rise for a minimum of 1 hour, and then add to a greased and/or floured bread pan.  Bake at 350 for 1 hour, or until golden brown.
